    Overview

Run the mountains of Greenland with trail guide Inga Fanney

This trip is primarily focused on running, with the Arktika providing a migrating home base between spectacular remote anchorages for gourmet meals, comfortable accommodations, and friendly conversation. Depending on weather and sea conditions, each voyage of this adventure will vary.

The itinerary may include running along fjords, around lakes, and up mountains, visiting the big Sermilik ice fjord, walking the streets of Tasiilaq, and cruising the sounds and channels between eastern villages.

The brilliant northern lights in the night sky will surely be one of the magical highlights of early autumn in east Greenland. This outing is suitable for experienced runners prepared to carry mandatory kit while on land.

    • Arktika

is a fully equipped Dutch-built sailing yacht certified to circumnavigate the globe with up to 12 guests. The hull shape is modelled after a remarkable Colin Archer design known for excellent sailing characteristics. Her comfortable deckhouse makes sailing in northern waters very pleasant. With four guest cabins (two four-person and two two-person), a spacious saloon and galley, there is ample space on-board. Normally we have max ten guests and sometimes we have extra crew or guides sharing the cabins with the guests. The boat offers central heating, hot and cold water, two heads (toilets), one shower, and 220V electricity capable of charging batteries and other electronic devices.

    • SETTLE IN COMFORTABLY

While sailing vessels are fairly simple and utilitarian by nature, Aurora has been outfitted to ensure comfortable accommodations and spacious communal areas for our guests.
